V-Lab has secured 拢165,006 ($209,949) in UK government funding to advance its AI-driven software designed to train individuals in the construction industry.聽
The company provides virtual simulations that mirror real construction environments, enabling workers to practice risk assessment and adhere to safety standards.
The development will help foster a competent workforce for the country’s infrastructure needs. 聽
V-Lab is among the recipients of a share of the 拢32m from recent UK government funding.
Today (7 August), a government announcement confirmed that nearly 100 AI projects will receive financial support as part of its strategy to elevate productivity and stimulate growth across the economy.
From Southampton to Birmingham, and extending to Northern Ireland, a total of 98 projects will benefit from this funding, encompassing more than 200 enterprises and research entities across various sectors, including public services. 聽
